Welcoming the New Year with warmth, relaxation and deep rest.
As we step into a brand-new year, I’m so excited to share that Hot Stones Massage is now officially available to book at Indulge Massage Therapy.
Launching on 1st January, this deeply relaxing treatment has been carefully introduced to support your body through the colder months, helping you slow down, warm up and start the year feeling restored.
Whether you’re carrying tension from a busy festive period, struggling with aches and stiffness, or simply craving deep relaxation, Hot Stones Massage offers a beautifully nurturing way to reset.
✨ What Is Hot Stones Massage?
Hot Stones Massage combines traditional massage techniques with smooth, heated basalt stones. The warmth from the stones penetrates deeply into the muscles, allowing them to soften more quickly and release tension more effectively.
The stones may be:
Gently placed on key areas of the body
Used as an extension of my hands during the massage
The result is a treatment that feels comforting, grounding and deeply soothing.
💆♀️ The Benefits of Hot Stones Massage
Hot Stones Massage is about far more than warmth alone. Some of the key benefits include:
🔸 Eases Muscle Tension
The heat helps muscles relax faster, making it ideal for stubborn tightness and long-standing tension.
🔸 Reduces Stress & Anxiety
The combination of warmth and slow, flowing massage helps calm the nervous system and quiet a busy mind.
🔸 Improves Circulation
Heat naturally encourages blood flow, helping oxygen and nutrients move more freely through the body.
🔸 Helps Relieve Aches & Stiffness
Particularly beneficial for the back, neck, shoulders, and legs — especially during colder weather.
🔸 Encourages Deep Relaxation
Many clients describe a feeling of being cocooned and grounded, often drifting into a deeply relaxed or meditative state.
🔸 Enhances Sleep Quality
By calming the nervous system and easing physical discomfort, Hot Stones Massage can help support more restful sleep.
🔸 Supports the Body’s Natural Detox Process
Improved circulation and relaxation help support lymphatic flow and overall wellbeing.

❄️ Perfect for Winter & the New Year
January is often a time when:
The body feels stiff or sluggish
Energy levels dip
Stress and overwhelm linger after the festive season
Hot Stones Massage offers a gentle, nurturing way to welcome the New Year, focusing on warmth, rest, and self-care rather than pressure or restriction.
🌿 Is Hot Stone Massage Right for Everyone?
Hot stone massage is a beautifully relaxing treatment for many people, helping to ease muscle tension, calm the nervous system and promote a deep sense of wellbeing.
Because the stones use warmth to relax the body, there are a few situations where hot stones may not be the most suitable option, particularly for those with heart or circulatory concerns, low blood pressure or sensitivity to heat.
If this applies to you, please don’t worry 🤍. There are always alternative massage options that can be just as soothing and effective and your treatment can easily be adapted on the day.
Before every appointment, I’ll carry out a full consultation to make sure your massage is completely safe, comfortable and tailored to your needs. And if at any point something doesn’t feel quite right, you’re always encouraged to let me know, your comfort and wellbeing will always come first. ✨
📅 Now Available to Book
Hot Stones Massage is available to book from 1st January and can be chosen as:
A standalone treatment
Part of a longer, indulgent massage session and for the first time ever, a two hour option is available to book.
Appointments are limited, particularly in the early weeks of January, so booking ahead is recommended.
💚 A Gentle Start to the New Year
If your intention for the year ahead is to:
Feel calmer
Move more freely
Sleep better
Or simply take better care of yourself
Hot Stones Massage is a wonderful place to begin.
I can’t wait to welcome you into the therapy room and introduce you to this deeply comforting treatment.
See you soon,
Lee x
